Because I believe in the value of my goals, I invest in the tools I need to achieve success.
I wouldn’t drag together a pile of scrap wood and rusted nails and expect to be able to build my dream house.
Instead, I take the time to draw up plans and make lists of all the supplies I might need.
While I am always careful about waste and extravagance, I am willing to invest in quality supplies in order to create a house that is not only beautiful, but can withstand the elements and endure the test of time.
I do the same in my personal and professional life.
I take the time to make sure I have thoroughly explored the options and that I have a clear picture of my goal.
I plan, research, and enlist the advice of others so I can have a realistic idea of the skills needed to achieve my goals.
Once I have a strong understanding of my plan, I acquire the necessary skills and resources.
I know what I want and I am willing to make the necessary investments of time, energy and money to make my dreams a reality.
Have you taken the time to figure out what skills you may need to achieve your goals?
