I pursue my dreams with passion.

My dreams are important to me because they are my assignments in life.

Believing in the power of my dreams is what allows me to see my dreams come to fruition.

Every day, I do everything within my power to pursue my dreams. I exercise my spiritual muscles in order to run the race with strength and endurance.

I believe the only way to achieve success is to live with intense passion.

If anything is worth doing, it is worth giving my all to.

My heart is tied to every task that I set out to do and I am certain about my goals and the direction in which my life is headed.

I allow myself plenty of time for mental and physical rest in order to perform at my best. Discipline and diligence are my nourishment.

Every decision that I carefully make brings me one step closer to my dreams.

My steps are purposefully ordered. I am in charge of my future and leave nothing up to chance.

I am diligent about reaching my goals. I carefully plan every move I make to ensure that it is a beneficial use of my time.

My plans reflect my life’s priorities and my time and money are spent on that which I value most.

My integrity places me at an advantage over my opposition.

I keep my goals squarely in sight so I can remain focused. I am fierce about reaching my dreams and I am confident in my ability to do so.

I reignite my passions through self-reflection.

I take time each day to reflect. Reflecting helps me identify things that are important to me.

The best way for me to reflect is to remove myself from the whirlwind that surrounds me.

I look for a quiet place with a comfortable place to sit and I enjoy the beautiful sound of silence.

With my eyes closed, I draw up times when I felt pure joy. Allowing myself to go back to that time gives me inner peace.

The pictures in my mind do not consist of possessions because my joy does not come from things I own.

What I see are the faces of my family and friends. I hear the laughter of children and I feel the gentleness of the ocean’s breeze. That’s when my passions erupt like a volcano.

It is essential that everything I do is driven by passion so I can live a fulfilling life.

I cannot be led by greed or selfishness. I feel real happiness when I am aware of my passions and I pursue them.

I find myself going through the motions of a meaningless life when I do not reflect. I take on obligations just to have something to do.

Even a worthy cause can become a burden if I am doing it for the wrong reasons.

Exercising reflection tones my soul’s muscles. My soul gains unnecessary weight from distractions and stress.

When I pause and search my heart, I can distinguish between those distractions and my true calling.

I am excited about what is to come. My vision is focused on fulfilling my calling.

I do my best when I am passionate and I am passionate when I pause for reflection.

Discover Your Passion: What Are Your Secret Talents?

What talents are hiding within you?

Many people have grown up believing they didn’t have anything special or unique to add to the world.

Perhaps they came from mediocre surroundings or had no encouragement for their gifts so they went unrecognized.

Or maybe they repressed their talents because they felt ashamed.

Whatever the reason, it’s all too easy to believe our talents and passions are not worth pursuing.

Everyone Has Talent

A great many of us are wandering around with the belief that we aren’t all that interesting when it comes to our natural gifts.

But we all have more talent than we think we do.

Very often we hear news stories about children with incredible abilities. Many of them are entertainers or child prodigies featured on daytime talk shows.

While it’s incredible to see these talented young children, don’t forget about your own children’s talents, which might not be as obvious.

They may not be as advanced as the kids on television but everyone’s talents are worth developing.

Children are often inspired after watching the Olympics and parents rush out to enroll the kids in gymnastics or swimming programs.They might possibly be the next Michael Phelps or they may never make it to the Olympics, but they will learn a new skill, get exercise, and meet new friends.
Adults may be inspired by their favorite sports hero. If you daydream about winning the Tour de France, then start small by joining a local cycling club.

Be Realistic

We shouldn’t delude ourselves and believe we can do all things. We need to be realistic about what we can accomplish but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try new things or take classes to learn something new.

If you’ve always wanted to be a Broadway actor, audition for a local community theater group. Many people can fulfill their passion on a smaller, local level.

You might decorate beautiful children’s birthday cakes, but should you attempt to decorate your niece’s wedding cake?Be realistic about your skills and how much time it will take but feel free to take some extra classes or find a mentor in the field who can help you.

Using Our Talents In Our Work

Many of us take jobs we don’t like and live lives we wish were a lot more exciting or fulfilling.

Instead of being discouraged with our life choices, we need to choose what we wish to do in the life we have and let our instincts lead us to our passions.

Think about what you love to do the most with regards to your job:

Maybe you love writing up detailed reports and therefore have a knack for the written word.
Maybe you get compliments on your good communications with clients. This might indicate you would be great as a public speaker or trainer.

What Do You Like?

If you still think you don’t have much talent, start looking at what you love to do with your time.

Maybe you love to sing along to your favorite song and your family and friends consistently tell you how good you are.

Maybe you love to dance and whenever others see you they remark about your incredible agility.
Maybe you find yourself doodling a masterpiece when you have some idle time.

If you think about what you really enjoy doing, you’ll find that you’ve been drawn to it over the course of many months or years.

It tends to be true that the better we are at something, the more we enjoy doing it.

If this doesn’t ring any bells for you, think about what your favorite classes were in school.

Once again, remember that we tend to love the things we’re good at. Thinking about these things is an excellent way to uncover your hidden talents.

Discovering these talents is a wonderful way to find a new hobby or boost your self-esteem.

If you let yourself accept that you probably have undiscovered talents, enjoy this adventure of discovery. It could very well take your life to higher levels of wealth and fulfillment!

Seven Unusual Activities to Spark Creativity and Passion

Creativity is the catalyst for innovation. Without it, the world as we know it wouldn’t even exist.

Someone, somewhere was creative enough to develop new technologies and techniques that have increased both our quality and quantity of life.

The question, though, is how does creativity begin? Does it start as a dream? Does a light bulb suddenly appear over your head? Or is there something specific you can do to spark your creativity and passion?

Believe it or not, we are all creative. While we may be creative in different ways, creativity is within us, juts waiting to be uncovered.

Finding Your Spark

Everyone has different rituals and routines to ignite their creativity, but let’s go through 7 ways to spark creativity and passion in your life:

1. Create a list of 100. Make a list of 100 ideas and thoughts. They don’t have to be connected, but simply write out 100 ideas that come to mind in a single sitting.

This may seem daunting, but the purpose is to generate uncensored and unfiltered thoughts that can be used as a foundation for a bigger idea. You can always filter the ideas later on, so focus on quantity, not quality at first.

2. Stimulate all of the senses. Try something different that involves the senses. For example, go to a wine tasting, art museum, concert or even a masseuse.

You just might discover a fresh idea by stimulating your body and mind with new things.

3. Surround yourself with positive, inspiring words. Stories, positive affirmations, and motivational quotes are always great starting points to tap into your creativity.

You just might be inspired to look within after reading the inspirational stories or thoughts of others.

4. Go for a country drive. You may be able to think clearer when you’re alone in the car. Turn off the stereo and tune into your own thoughts circulating in your head.

There are plenty of creative ideas already within your mind; you just have to become more aware of them!

5. Try the color yellow. This may sound strange, but psychologists believe that the color yellow inspires creativity. Architecture firms have a tendency to paint their walls yellow.

6. Use the bountiful resources of others. There are plenty of people around the world who love to talk, so get them talking!

Ask them questions and allow their responses to guide your thoughts and ideas. You just may come up with a unique and creative solution by using the brainpower of others.

7. Take a break. If you’re under stress or pressure, it’s time to relax. After all, our minds need a break!

Your relaxation routine doesn’t have to be extravagant; it can be as simple as playing a Sudoku puzzle or going for a 15-minute walk. By refreshing your body and mind, you will actually return more creative than ever.

I feel an intense flame of passion for things that interest me.

I am where I want to be in my life. My passion is real and it is within me.

I surround myself with like-minded, passionate people and engage in projects and work that inspire and motivate me. I am thankful to be able to love what I do, and do what I love.

An intense fire within my heart ignites me. I know with great certainty that my passion will never escape me and can never be taken from me. My passion is deeply ingrained within me and cannot be disturbed.

At times it may be challenging to stay focused. I strive to stay on course through thick and thin, regardless of criticisms, distractions, or obstacles. I let my intense passion rise within my soul and it sends me soaring to new heights that mere words cannot explain.

I feel alive and vibrant. I am inspired and elated. I am on the highest level of stimulation. My emotions are stirred and so is my talent.

I believe everyone should engage in their passion because a passion can truly inspire and motivate in unimaginable ways. I thrive on the emotional boost I feel when I indulge in my passion and purpose.

I am doing what I was created to do. It gives me great pleasure to know that my passion is someone else’s treasure. What a purpose-driven life I have!

I am focused on the big prize.

I remain centered on my goals without distractions.

I have clear, attainable goals in my life to help me achieve the things I know I deserve.

Accomplishing today’s goals gives me the momentum to create and achieve any goal I set for myself in life.

As I set and accomplish the smaller goals in my life I am empowered and made stronger by each accomplishment.

With this strength and empowerment, I know I am getting closer each day to my “big picture” goals.

I continue moving toward these larger goals by taking one step at a time.

I remain alert and determined to obtain the end results I desire and deserve.

I have an ultimate objective in my life and I keep my sights on this goal and move forward in my endeavors.

Distraction is far from me as I pay close attention to my primary goal in life.

This gives me great purpose and an unstoppable passion.

Today, I choose to remain focused on my primary objectives in life, and with each challenge I conquer, my passion intensifies and my determination grows stronger.

Gaining Focus: Caring Enough to Take Action

Would you love to have more focus in life?

We all admire some people’s ability to concentrate, whether they’re training for the Olympics or solving a great societal problem. These folks with great focus have discovered something very important: If you’re focused on a goal, you have an easier time getting where you’re going.

But can you really create focus just by willing yourself to have it? Or is this trait a secondary characteristic of something else?

It’s All About Passion

Broken down to essentials, caring about something is the foundation of focus. After all, the more passion you have about something, the easier it is for you to pay attention to it. Focusing on something that holds no meaning to you can be very challenging.

If you look at anything spectacular that you’ve ever done, it probably involved something that you cared about very deeply. This isn’t just a coincidence. Focus isn’t about discipline; it’s about passion.

Notice the people you know who really struggle with life. You’re likely to find that they haven’t found something to really care about. If you’re in this position, youcan really suffer. However, when you’re able to open your heart and truly find something you’re passionate about, happiness is the result.

Ask yourself what makes you cry. Is it the images of starving children on TV? Is it music? Can you imagine the focus and clarity you’d experience if you spent the majority of your time on the thing or things that matter to you the most?

Caring puts you into the perfect state of mind; you’re stimulated enough to take real action, but not to the point of feeling apprehensive or overwhelmed. In fact, when you truly care, it’s harder to not take action!

Finding Your Passion (And Your Focus)

So now that you know what you need to gain focus, let’s get back to finding the thing that you care about the most.

This process will help you find your passion, your focus, and greater happiness:

Make a list of the things that you’re truly passionate about. These aren’t necessarily the fun little things you like to do when you have some free time, though they might be. These are the things that you consider to be most important, the worldwide challenges you would fix if you were given a wish.

These should be things that fascinate you so much that you’d gladly spend your life studying them.

Organize your list. Put the items on your list in order by the amount of emotion you feel when you imagine yourself being part of each one.

If there is nothing on your list yet that makes you cry, keep writing. Don’t stop until you’ve found the one that does make you cry. You’ll know your passion when you see it.

Using Your List to Your Advantage

Now that you have your list, ask yourself how much discipline would be required to be part of those items. Would you have to force yourself to focus on them? Or does the mere fact that you care about those items so much simply result in focus? Although each item will certainly involve times when you have to enlist some self-discipline, the big ones won’t take much.

If you feel it’s a challenge to focus on your career, relationship, or any other part of your life, that’s a great sign that something needs to change. Go to your list for ideas and options. Try a new career that fills you with a sense of caring andyou’ll never have to “work” another day again.
