The more strongly I believe in my success, the more obstacles fall out of my way.

I have a strong belief in myself and know, without a doubt, that I can succeed in any goal I put my mind to.

Confidence like this enables me to find solutions and take actions that can overcome anything that stands in my way.

How can I be so sure of myself?

I use tools that virtually assure my success!

I use these tools every day to bolster my strength and confidence to pursue my goals regardless of obstacles.

When I set a goal, I divide it into many small, attainable steps.

Achieving these steps, one by one, keeps me focused on my journey.

Each success builds on my belief that I can achieve my goals and I am motivated to continue on.

I use affirmations to ensure that I am on the path to success.

Any feelings of fear or self-doubt are quickly replaced by a positive, affirming thought.

I pray and meditate every day to envision my success.

I see myself as the successful person I am, living the life of my dreams.

I send out positive emotions of joy, pride, and gratitude for this wonderful life, and those vibrations attract more good things for me to feel good about.

I know that challenges are a normal part of my path to success.

They do not shock me; nor do I let them stop me.

I take challenges in stride, finding solutions that render them powerless.

Today, I choose to believe with absolute certainty that I can succeed.

My plan is to make use of all my tools to make myself unstoppable on my life journey.

Becoming Your Own Number 1 Fan

If you’re looking to lead a happier life, believing in yourself is an absolute necessity.

If you don’t believe in yourself, how can you expect others to believe in you?

You may have gone through some rough times in your life making it difficult to be the happy person you want to be.

Maybe you even suffer from a lack of self-confidence because of past conflicts and pains.

No matter what you’ve been through, you can choose to overcome these obstacles.

It’s time to be your own Number 1 fan and there’s no better time to start than right now!

1. Gain more confidence in yourself by facing your fears.

Fear of failure may have caused you to ignore your dreams, desires or goals.

Don’t let fear stop you from getting what you want and achieving your goals.

If Thomas Edison had been afraid of failure, we wouldn’t have the luxury of indoor lighting today.

He never gave up trying to find the right way to make a light bulb and he experienced over 10,000 ways of how not to make a light bulb.

Just because you don’t reach your goals or dreams the first time, don’t give up. Keep trying until you succeed.

Fear of being alone may stop you from going away to school or moving to a new city where you can pursue your dreams.

Realize that you will make new friends and that you’re current friends will always be there.

Now with the Internet, staying in touch with your friends and family is easier and more convenient than ever.

Once you begin facing your fears, you’ll discover that what you feared may not be such a big deal after all.

But, you’ll never know until you start.

2. Self-talk can also determine whether you believe in yourself or not.

Do you often say negative things like, “I’m an idiot,” or “That was a dumb thing to do,” or “I’m ugly?”

How you perceive yourself comes out in what you say.

However, what you say to yourself can also change how you see yourself.

Start speaking positively to yourself, about yourself.

When you’re getting ready for the day, while looking in the mirror, point out positive characteristics about yourself and say them out loud.

Phrases such as:

“I am an attractive person.”

“I am a good parent.”

“I am a hard worker.”

“I love myself.”

“I like how I look in these clothes.”

“I am brilliant.”

Even if you don’t believe it, say it! You’ll soon realize these things really are true.

You can also post positive quotes or scriptures where you would see them several times a day to keep your spirits high.

3. Insecurity can be a source of disbelief.

Learning to be more secure in certain areas of your life will help you believe in yourself more, plus others will begin to believe in you as well.

There may be certain areas in your life that you feel you need to work on, so work on them!

Are you bad at financial management?

Take a class to help you learn how to budget so you can be in control of your money, instead of your money controlling you.

Are you a slow reader?

Take a speed-reading class or get a tutor to help you build speed.

Do you find it challenging to speak in public?

Take a public speaking course or become an intern for an organization where you must speak in public.

Is your weight stopping you from believing yourself?

First of all, remember that today’s society has a skewed view of beauty.

Don’t allow the media to determine your worth!

However, if your weight is at an unhealthy level, learn how to eat healthy and get regular exercise to take some weight off.

No matter what’s stopping you from believing in yourself, there’s a way to overcome it.

You’ll first need to figure out what’s causing your self-doubt.

Is it fear, insecurity, mental attitudes, or something else?

Only then can you face the obstacle and overcome it.

When was the last time you appreciated yourself?

We’ve all heard about how positive thinking can benefit you in many ways, but did you know that positive thinking and the Law of Attraction can help boost your income as well?

These days we all could use some extra income!

Positive Thinking

Positive thinking is more than just being upbeat all the time.

The term “optimistic” comes to mind; however, positive thinking is much more than just being hopeful, also.

Positive thinking is the opposite of negative thinking.

I’m sure you know someone who’s a negative thinker.

They’re usually down most of the time, get depressed easily, and have negative things happen to them recurrently.

Have you ever wondered why this happens?

It’s because the negative thinker surrounds himself with negative energy, which attracts more negative things.

His thoughts are in harmony with negativity, so that’s what he gets – more of the same!

Positive thinkers, on the other hand, think about encouraging things and surround themselves with positive energy.

Their thoughts are in harmony with good things, so they attract more positive opportunities.

Whether you’re aware of it or not, you gravitate toward the outcome of situations because of your thought processes.

Therefore, when you think positively, you’ll make decisions based on that type of outcome, consciously or unconsciously.

The same goes if you think negatively.

How to Use the Law of Attraction to Attract More Money

If you dwell on the negative – such as how bad the economy is or how tragic situations are – your thoughts, and therefore your decisions, take you down a path to negative outcomes.

However, when you think positively, you now have a fresh start to do something you really enjoy and your thoughts and decisions move you toward those goals.

Now is the time to start thinking positively in this financial downfall.

Social networking is HUGE and growing by leaps and bounds!

Social networking platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Digg, Stumble Upon and De.lic.ious are changing the way businesses of all types market their products and services.

Many companies are hiring people to market their business on these and other social networks.

3. Do you like to write?

Blogs are fast becoming the way to update a website consistently, driving more and more traffic to it.

Companies are looking for writers to fill their sites with content.

Posting blogs, article writing, and copywriting are just a few of the ways you can earn money online using skills you already have and a pastime you enjoy.

4. Boost your income at your current job.

When you think positive things about your job, you tend to perform better.

And when you excel at your work, your boss is more likely to recognize you as a valuable, or even indispensable, team member!

Positive thinking will help lead you in the right direction toward a positive outcome.

If you’re naturally a negative thinker, turning those thoughts into positive ones may be a little more difficult, but it can be done.

When you start to have negative thoughts, try to catch them before you’re already on the path to destruction in your head.

Then, turn them around and focus on positive outcomes.

Over time and with practice, positive thinking can become natural to you.

What to Do When You’re Facing Sudden Job Loss

In today’s economy, the thought of losing your job is a real possibility.

Perhaps you’re already in that situation.

But don’t despair, there are things you can do and places you can go to help you through this tough time.

The first place you must go is to your unemployment agency.

You may even be able to apply for benefits online.

Either way, contacting them is the first step you need to take.

The unemployment agency provides financial benefits to those who qualify and they’ll help you find another job.

Many states are now offering programs that extend unemployment benefits so you can go back to school and learn a new trade or skill.

Be sure to ask your local agent about any special programs they’re currently offering.

Although they can make a significant difference in the short-term, unemployment benefits are usually much lower than your normal salary.

However, there are many other sources you can also take advantage of to help you get by during this rough financial time.

Let’s look at some of your options:

1. Reduce monthly expenses. Take a serious look at some of the things you can live without for a while until you get back on your feet.

Go through all of your bills and expenses and cut out the things that aren’t necessities.

Be honest with yourself – just because you think you can’t live without your cable or cell phone, doesn’t mean it’s true.

Some of the first places to look include:

Television
Phones – both cell and land line
Cell texting or other data communications
Transportation
Eating out
Power usage
Air conditioning and heating

2. Save money by meal planning.

You can save over $100 (based on a family of 4 with bi-monthly pay periods) on each trip to the grocery store simply by planning meals ahead, using coupons and shopping your grocer’s weekly sales flyers.

Not only will you reduce how much you spend on food, but you’ll probably reduce some weight around your waistline as well.

Who couldn’t use that added benefit?

3. Waiting tables. One of the fastest ways to earn some quick cash is to wait tables.

This may not be glamorous, but it can bring in some immediate cash, and many restaurants beef up staff for the summer months.

4. Community agencies. If you’re in dire straits and need assistance right now, there are many local agencies you can turn to for aid.

The United Way and Salvation Army are located in most areas and offer a variety of programs that may be able to help you.

Your area may have different agencies, so check online or in the phone book for the ones in your community.

5. Government agencies.

Besides the unemployment agency, most areas have a Department of Human Resources, Social Services, or Health Department that can help or guide you to assistance.

6. Sell items on eBay. Take a good look around your home, shed, or garage.

How many boxes do you have lying around filled with stuff you never use?

You’ll be surprised at what people will pay for what you consider junk!

7. Have a yard sale. You can make a nice chunk of change by selling off furniture, clothing, and other household items you don’t use anymore.

8. Set up your own online or offline shop. If you can make arts and crafts, sell your items on eBay, Etsy or at local craft fairs.

With some communication, research, and creativity, you can take advantage of your time off to learn a new skill or start a new venture with skills and passions you already have.

Have some fun utilizing your creative ability while making the extra money you need to make ends meet.

These tough financial times don’t have to be devastating.

Use these tips to take advantage of the resources available to you to reduce the negative impact on your life.

You may even look back on this time as the lucky stroke that pushed you toward success in your new career!

Each baby-step I take brings me one step closer to the more successful me.

When I allow myself to improve little by little, I am sculpting the more successful me that I desire.

Just as a baby learns to walk by first taking tiny steps, I can grow into the traits and develop the successful attitudes I desire by making small changes.

Each change may seem like only a baby-step at the time, but every step builds on the one before it.

Soon enough, baby-steps turn into confident strides!

I let go of the thought that I can change overnight and choose, instead, to accept nature’s pleasant way of bringing about change.

If I wish to become more joyful, I can start by feeling gratitude and giving thanks for the blessings in my life – even the small ones.

If I want to acquire the attitudes and successes of the wealthy, I can read stories of those I want to emulate to learn how they think.

If I desire a job that requires more education, I can enroll in some classes to get me started on the knowledge that can propel me into the career of my dreams.

I know that every small step brings about positive changes that can help get me to where I want to be.

Trying to take steps that are too large for me leads to unnecessary stress and worry.

Baby-steps, on the other hand, bring me success!

Today, I choose to take at least one small action toward my goals.

I feel grateful knowing that it is a baby-step that brings me one step closer to the success I deserve.
